Man O War

Man O War, 1917-1947 was an American Thoroughbred Racehorse who many consider to be the best of all time, during his 2 year racing career shortly after World War 1 he won 20 out of his 21 races between June 1919 and October 1920 and nearly $250,000 in prize money.

After initially planning to race Man O War for a third season but opting against the idea due to record weight handicapping forecasts, he was retired to stud in 1921 by owner Samuel Riddle and went on to sire a generation of American thoroughbreds.
